Himalayan Development International (HDI) is a charitable organisation established to help Nepalis people to contribute to the development of Nepal. HDI encourages Nepalis professionals living in the UK to take advantage of Nepalis Diaspora Volunteering Programme (NDVP) to take short volunteering placements in Nepal to pass on their skills and expertise by means of training. HDI also aims to initiate projects in the UK to support Nepalis people to get on with their life.
We believe in the collective strength of Nepalis human capital which continues to increase in the UK and rest of the world. We believe that we can play significant role in changing the fate of the nation. Nepal not only needs international support in terms of development grants but Nepal also needs her children to invest their time and energy to transform the future of Nepal.
